Radiology - Interventional Radiology (IR Tech)

Special Procedures Radiology Tech

This is a 13-week contract position.

4x10 hour shifts, days from 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM. Shifts will be scheduled based on unit needs, with a few possible late shifts each week.

The Special Procedures Radiology Tech will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures in a high-acuity environment. Candidates must demonstrate excellence in hybrid OR settings and extensive endovascular procedures, including but not limited to FEVAR, PME, GEVAR, TEVAR, AAA, TAA, angiograms, and embolizations.

Responsibilities

• Administer diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures with proficiency in advanced vascular features.
• Utilize knowledge of Siemens portable C-arm functions, including digital subtraction and road mapping.
• Work independently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Engage in patient care activities, ensuring quality outcomes and adherence to safety standards.
• Participate in flexible call schedules and holiday coverage as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• MUST have over 1 year of experience with Zeego and Pheno systems.
• Extensive endovascular experience is required.
• Familiarity with vascular supplies and EPIC charting system.
• ARRT certification and BLS are required.
• Radiation badge provided by agency.
