Licensure: Active State Licensure for Oklahoma as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Experience: Prior experience in Long Term Care or Rehab settings preferred

What You'll Do
- Support clinical interventions using evidence-based practices under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments to patients with physical functioning disorders
- Administer procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices
- Assess patient progress and communicate with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly
- Document all treatments, patient progress, and outcomes following regulatory standards
- Offer counseling to patients and support to families and caregivers regarding physical health issues
- Participate in team meetings, patient care conferences, and ongoing trainings
- Support supervising Physical Therapists in obtaining necessary supplies and supervising students as needed
What You Need
Required:
- Oklahoma State Licensure as a PTA
- Prior experience in Long Term Care or similar rehabilitative settings preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
Preferred:
- Experience supervising students or support staff
- Knowledge of APTA standards and state practice acts
