Construction Superintendent

Job Requirements:

• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• 30-hour OSHA certification.
• Proficient in Reading Blueprints and Project Documents.
• Scheduling experience.
• Prefer 10 years of experience as a Superintendent.

Duties:

The Superintendent will:

• Promote Job-Site Safety.
• Coordinate and supervise the construction process through final construction, ensuring timely completion within budget.
• Develop and distribute "Look Ahead" schedules to subcontractors.
• Work with all parties, including Project Managers, Engineers, Architects, Laborers, and others who are involved in the construction process
• Determine the best way to get materials to the building site and the most cost-effective plan and schedule for completing the project.
• Conduct weekly meetings with subcontractors.
• Determine the labor requirements.
• Oversee the performance of all subcontractors and will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed on schedule.
• Oversee the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment; worker productivity and safety; and the quality of construction.
• Responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and monitoring compliance with building and safety codes, other regulations, and requirements.
• All other duties as required.
