GOPS partners with KLA's global supply base and design engineering teams to develop new products, working continuously to build better, faster and more cost-efficient solutions.What You'll DoIn this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.Place Purchase Orders for direct materials per requirements driven by MRP or Re-order Point systemEnsure timely materials availability per planning requirements and build planReview and analyze the reports to mitigate shortages (Open order report, WIP Shortage report etc.)Communicate with suppliers for early or delayed deliveries as required to align with build planManage the entire request for proposal (RFP) process, from creation and distribution to the evaluation of bids and final vendor selection.Liaise with suppliers on non-conformance issues and work with suppliers on replacements or repairs- MRBCommunicate with Suppliers on engineering change orders (ECO) and co-ordinate phasing in of the new revisionWork with Inventory Analyst by providing recommendation during quarterly E&ND review and follow through the action proposeCollaborate with cross functional departments to understand their specific needs and ensure the timely delivery of all procured materials and servicesMonitor and evaluate supplier performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), addressing any issues to ensure adherence to agreed-upon service levels.Maintain accurate and organized procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.Minimum Qualifications2 years of buyer experience preferably in controlled manufacturing environment (semi, electromechanical)Experience in high mix components and assembliesSAP or similar ERP experienceData analytical skills preferredMinimum QualificationsMaster's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 yearsAbout KLAWe provide advanced inspection tools, metrology systems, process solutions, and computational analytics that make electronics possible, tackling complex challenges.
