Virtua Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU) Team

Virtua Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU) team is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ.

As a member of Virtua Medical Group's growing cardiovascular program, you'll work alongside nationally recognized cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary specialists dedicated to delivering exceptional care to critically ill cardiac patients.

In this role, you'll:

• Provide advanced care to patients in a high-acuity Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, advanced heart failure, and critical care specialists
• Manage complex cardiovascular patients including those with:
• Advanced heart failure
• Cardiogenic shock
• Mechanical circulatory support (MCS)
• Post-operative cardiac surgery needs
• Complex cardiac conditions requiring intensive monitoring
• Participate in patient management, care coordination, education, and quality improvement initiatives
• Work within a supportive environment focused on innovation, teamwork, and clinical excellence

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Critical care, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, or cardiovascular ICU experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care

Compensation Information:

In compliance with New Jersey pay transparency laws, all nurse practitioner roles include a posted minimum base salary. This role offers a base starting salary at $141,450.00. Final compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and prevailing market factors.
