This position requires 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule. The total hours per week are 36, except during the orientation week. Candidates within 50 miles will receive a different pay rate. Scrubs are navy blue in color. Offers must be responded to with acceptance or decline within 48 hours, or they will be retracted. Time off requests will not be altered or added once an offer is accepted. Top procedures include care for adults with stroke, ambulatory dysfunction, seizures, and brain tumors. Other procedures involve post-surgical care for back, neck, and brain surgeries, including craniotomies and laminectomies. Additional tasks include post-TPA care, administering breathing treatments, CPAP/BiPAP, trach care, managing drains, epidural pumps, feeding tubes, PCA pumps, PICC lines, ports, triple lumens, wound vacs, and medical psychology for voluntary and involuntary cases.
