Job Description

Description: We're Growing!   Join Three Rivers Therapy in Vancouver

We’re excited to bring Three Rivers Therapy to Vancouver, Washington, and we’re building a team that shares our commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we serve.

Three Rivers Therapy is a mission-driven behavioral health organization with more than 10 years of experience serving Washington communities. Our mission is to empower individuals, strengthen communities, and transform lives through exceptional behavioral health care. We’re committed to setting a higher standard for innovation, quality, and impact in behavioral health.

Our culture is grounded in four core values. We value people who are engaged, come to work with a growth mindset , maintain High Standards for themselves and their colleagues, and like to have Fun . We believe great care starts with a great team, and we strive to create an environment where people are supported, challenged to grow, and empowered to do meaningful work.

As we open our doors in Vancouver, this is an opportunity to help shape something new, grow with an expanding organization, and make a meaningful impact in the community.

About the Role

As a Family Peer in the WISe Program, you’ll be an essential part of the care team, using your lived experience as a parent or caregiver to support families navigating behavioral health and other systems of care. You’ll provide encouragement, mentorship, advocacy, and practical support while helping families feel heard, understood, and empowered. By building trust and connection, you’ll help families navigate services, strengthen support systems, and work alongside youth and care teams to support meaningful outcomes.

Represent Three Rivers Therapy and its programs professionally when interacting with clients, community partners, agencies, and visitors.
  • Education & Facilitation: Lead educational sessions, workshops, and presentations using engaging and interactive approaches. Adapt curriculum and content to meet the needs of participants and ensure information is relevant and accessible.
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, community members, organizations, and service providers. Partner with community leaders and organizations to strengthen connections and expand opportunities for the people we serve.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely client records, progress notes, case files, and program documentation. Track program activities and participant progress and provide updates and reports to the manager as needed.
  • Advocacy & Empowerment: Advocate for clients’ needs and rights and help connect them with community resources, activities, and support networks that promote social connection, independence, and a sense of belonging.
  • Crisis Support: Provide support, guidance, and appropriate intervention to clients experiencing difficult or crisis situations, following established protocols.
  • Transportation & Community-Based Services: Transport clients to appointments and community resources as needed. Provide services in a variety of community settings and travel throughout the service area to meet clients where they are.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Benefits

  • 14 Paid Holidays: 12 company-paid holidays plus 2 floating holidays each year
  • Generous PTO: Earn up to 2 weeks of paid time off during your first year, based on hours worked
  • Paid Sick Leave: Earn up to 6.5 days of paid sick leave, based on hours worked
  • Retirement Benefits: Participate in a retirement plan featuring a competitive employer match
  • Comprehensive Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage options
  • Employer-Paid Life Insurance: Valuable life insurance coverage provided at no cost to you. Contribution up to 3% of your salary.
  • Invest in Your Growth: Up to $750 annual professional development funding for continuing education, certifications, and career advancement

Work Environment
