Job Description

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will:

• Function as an assistant to the nurses on the Med/Surgical floor 
• Be responsible for ADL’s and tasks as assigned by the nursing staff.
• Be able to lift patients with using appropriate body mechanics.
• Collect data about patients, and to utilize the computer to document appropriate care completed.
• Function as a team member offering suggestions for improvements and listening to requests.
• Work with others to determine priorities for patient care. (Is polite, positive and flexible.)

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant course
• Good standing on Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry
• Eligible and Active with the IDPH
• BLS within 3 months of hire
