Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - ACLS - BLS - PALS - RN license Description: Unit Information: There are 3 catheterization rooms and 4 electrophysiology rooms. The unit has a specific staff structure for day shifts. Patient-to-nurse ratios are estimated at 1:1. Equipment used in the unit includes Cath/EP Lab technology. The documentation system utilized is Meditech. Call requirements include 8-12 call shifts per month, which encompasses two weekends. Typical Procedures Performed: Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and PCI. Watchman procedures and left atrial appendage occlusion. Electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures. Device implants related to cardiac care. Additional Preferences: Candidates should be proficient in Cath/EP procedures. Adaptability to a fast-paced environment is important. Ability to function well independently is desired. Dress Code: Surgical scrubs will be provided. General Comments: This position has been created to replace a contractor.
