Job Summary: Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Tallahassee, FL
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Neuro unit within the Medical Surgical Floor. The role will support patient care on a neuro-focused unit and involves completing required orientation training, including EPIC training during the second half of the day. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Licensure: Florida (FL) or Compact license
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Education: Not specified
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
  • Location requirements: Tallahassee, FL
• Preferred Qualifications: Prefer 1 year to be neuro specific.
• Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care for a Neuro unit within the Medical Surgical division.
  • Complete EPIC training during the second half of the day at orientation, with the opportunity to test out of training during that time. If test-out is not achieved, complete the full training before being released to the unit.
• Additional Information:
  • Floating is required. Travelers will float first and will float to all units within the Medical Surgical division.
  • Prior travel is required, with at least 1 assignment.
  • Phlebotomy duties are the responsibility of RN and PCT roles. When PCTs are available on the unit, they may assist.
