A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: /n RN - ED ER /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM/n• 3 days per week schedule/n• Full-time position/n• Provide routine and complex nursing care in emergency department setting/n• Practice independently and demonstrate awareness of all relevant clinical situations/n• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers/n• Utilize nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation/n• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families/n• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols/n• Monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness/n• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided/n• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers/n• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred/n• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred/n• Required certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), and TNCC/n• Texas RN License or compact license required/n• Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire/n• Complete designated organizational and Emergency Department-specific competency validations/n• Complete all annual competency verification requirements /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization is a comprehensive medical center that provides emergency and acute care services to the community.
