Role:
Grayson College is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Technology (HART) Program Coordinator to lead, manage, and support the HART training program. The HART Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination, compliance, instructional quality, and day-to-day operations of the program. This role ensures that students receive high-quality instruction aligned with state and federal regulations while supporting instructors, maintaining instructional equipment, and fostering strong industry standards and partnerships. Teaching assignments will vary from semester to semester and could include day, evening, occasional weekends, and high school dual credit. Teaching locations could include both campuses, local high schools, and other locations as assigned. This is a 9month, fulltime faculty position. This position reports to Grayson Colleges Director of Industrial Technologies and the Dean of Academic and Workforce Instruction. The salary for this position is based on the Grayson College 2025-2026 Faculty Salary scale, -scale-25-26.pdf Benefits:

- Tuition-FT employees, their spouse & dependents are eligible for coverage of full Grayson College tuition amount.
- 65% - Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the HART training program, including scheduling, curriculum delivery, instructional consistency, laboratory and equipment maintenance, and hands-on HART instruction (this is not an exhaustive list). Ensure compliance with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and other applicable state and federal requirements. Maintain accurate program records, including student enrollment, attendance, instructional hours, progress, and outcomes.
- 10% - Work as a team member in the Industrial Technologies Department; comply with the faculty responsibilities as outlined in the Faculty Handbook and the Colleges Policy and Procedure Manual.
- 10% - Develop and update HART curriculum as required by the State of Texas; participate in college committees; and assist with student registration, advisement, and recruitment.
- 10% - Contribute to the campus assessment process by measuring and reporting student learning outcomes as directed to meet Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) Core Objectives and SACSCOC requirements.
- 5% - Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean and/or Director.

- Collaborates with the Industrial Technologies Faculty.
- Participates in professional development and stays current in both the professional field and in current teaching/learning best practices.
Valid Texas HVAC or Refrigeration licensure, or the ability to obtain required licensure within 1 year.
EPA Section 608 Certification
Minimum of three (3) years of recent, verifiable professional experience in the heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration industry, or meet TDLR minimum requirements for instructional eligibility or an Associates of Applied Science degree in related fields.
Demonstrated knowledge of HART industry standards, safety regulations, and applicable state and federal requirements
Ability to effectively communicate, teach, coach, and evaluate students and instructional staff
Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation required for program compliance and accreditation
Ability to pass and maintain:
