2nd Shift Quality Inspector - North Hollywood

The quality inspector will demonstrate extensive knowledge of Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing (GD&T) methods per ASME 14.5 . They will also demonstrate expert level blueprint reading and manufacturing/inspection related math skills. They will serve as SMEs for mechanical, assembly or CMM inspection. These inspectors read and interpret results of inspections to determine product conformance and will have enough knowledge of manufacturing processes to provide detailed feedback on ways to improve product quality. These inspectors work independently and escalates issues as needed. They will also demonstrate advanced knowledge in AS9102 reporting, including the ability to create reports independently. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Validate products meet requirements as indicated on blueprints or job travelers. Perform first final inspection to validate final product conformance and readiness to ship to customer. Utilize Coordinate Measuring Machine to validate GD&T requirements. Review and approve AS9102 forms and other validation documentation. Required Experience A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in industry or related field. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Basic computer knowledge including MS Office. Level of Education High school diploma/GED equivalent or appropriate experience required. For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $26.00 to $33.00 USD hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter.
