THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN Helens, CA

• Job Title: Travel RN - Outpatient

  Location: Helena, CA
  Assignment Type: (Temporary Contract)
  Shift: Day Shift | 4x10s (Mon–Fri, rotating day off)
  Start times vary between 5:30 AM – 11:00 AM based on case volume

We are seeking an experienced RN – Outpatient Surgery , who will deliver coordinated, patient-centered care across pre-op and PACU Phase II workflows in a dynamic surgical setting.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a rapid patient turnover environment .

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans

• Deliver safe, efficient pre-op and post-anesthesia (Phase II) care

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes

• Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery

• Support discharge planning and continuity of care

• Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff appropriately

Required:

Licensure & Certifications

• Active California RN License (Required)

• BLS (AHA or ARC) (Required)

• ACLS (Required)

• PALS (Required)

Experience

• Minimum 2 years RN experience

• Outpatient surgery, endoscopy, or perioperative experience strongly preferred

• Experience with:

  • Moderate sedation

  • Rapid patient turnover

  • Pre-op care for open heart & total joint patients (highly valued)
