Role SummaryThe investment analyst is responsible for fundamental analysis of a specific industry or sector to identify investible ideas for various portfolio strategies. Responsible for looking at both primary and secondary transactions.ResponsibilitiesInvolves interviews of company executives and management teams, competitors, suppliers, etc., as well as industry experts and Wall Street analystsCollaborate with other teams and Portfolio Managers via internal meetingsPossible travel and industry conference attendanceQualificationsRequired:MBA or at least 3 years of equity research experiencePreferred:Strong background in finance and accountingProficiency in working with MS Excel and PowerPointGood communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workIn addition to the qualities outlined above, intellectual curiosity and a disciplined approach to analysis are very important traits.FINRA RequirementsFINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.Work FlexibilityThis role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.Base Salary RangesPlease review the job posting for the location of this specific opportunity.$180,000.00-$300,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers$180,000.00-$300,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.$180,000.00-$300,000.00 for the location of: New York, CaliforniaPlacement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role.
