We’re seeking a Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) Engineer to elevate asset performance and throughput for ATS and our customers. If you blend precision maintenance know-how with coaching talent and data-driven decision-making, read on.

Your mission

• Live ATS safety values daily; maintain full compliance with applicable regulations and ATS policies.
• Co-create engineered improvements with internal and external partners to enhance uptime and flow.
• Build and justify CapEx proposals for replacements/upgrades with clear ROI.
• Institutionalize a precision reliability culture: operating systems, critical elements, and best practices.
• Apply precision tools in alignment, measurement, and verification activities.
• Develop and sustain equipment-specific maintenance plans (ESMPs) grounded in RCM principles.
• Integrate predictive, preventive, and precision maintenance to mitigate risk ahead of failure.
• Lead and facilitate FMEA workshops to optimize strategies and task lists.
• Advance Work Execution Management (WEM): assess maturity, mentor teams, and close gaps from strategy reviews.
• Teach and coach RCA, Bad Actor elimination, and Fault Tree Analysis using ATS methods.
• Translate reliability work into KPI improvements valued by both ATS and the customer.

Must-haves

• Engineering bachelor’s (ABET) or equivalent heavy industrial maintenance/reliability/operations experience.
• 5+ years dedicated to reliability engineering or equivalent capacity.
• Demonstrated use of end-to-end reliability toolsets: RCA, RCM, FMEA.
• Master-level skill with predictive technologies and machine condition monitoring.
• Certifications: Vibration I and Infrared I.
• Experience coaching Work Execution Management.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical systems knowledge, including components, tools, and design intent.
• Proven capability with FMEA, cause-and-effect (fishbone), root cause failure analysis, life-cycle costing, and risk evaluation.
• Curiosity for new equipment technologies and emerging trends.
• Analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, and sound decision-making abilities.
• Competent with CMMS/maintenance software and Microsoft Office; excellent reporting and technical writing.
• Clear communicator, skilled facilitator/presenter ; collaborative relationship-builder and cross-functional leader.

Success looks like

• 30 days: Safety embedded in routines; quick wins identified; ESMP gaps mapped; baseline KPIs aligned with customer.
• 60–90 days: Predictive program tuned; FMEA-driven task optimization underway; WEM coaching cadence established; first Bad Actor eliminated.
• 180 days: Documented MTBF improvements; ROI-backed CapEx approved; precision practices scaled across assets.

Work environment and physical expectations

Frequent standing and walking; manual handling with hands; reaching; climbing/balancing; and routine stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Clear speaking and hearing are essential. Sitting occurs occasionally. You may occasionally lift or move over 50 lbs. Regular use of close and color vision is required. Work can include occasional exposure to outdoor conditions and electrical shock hazards. The factory environment is typically very loud and may include hazardous materials and greasy or slippery floors.
