Associate Attorney

Associate Attorney – Hybrid/Remote Elite Sourcing is working with an AV-rated Bay Area law firm seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its growing team. This role will handle insurance coverage matters and related litigation while taking on significant case-handling responsibilities. About The Job: Handle insurance coverage matters and related civil litigation Analyze insurance policies, coverage issues, and potential exposure Draft coverage opinions, correspondence, pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal briefs Conduct legal research and provide analysis on complex insurance coverage issues Manage case files and assume significant responsibility for matters from inception through resolution Assist with discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedings Communicate directly with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and other parties Work independently while collaborating with partners and other attorneys on complex matters Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active California Bar admission required Insurance coverage and/or litigation experience (Civil litigation, Insurance Defense, Construction Defect, etc.) Insurance coverage experience strongly preferred Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to independently manage multiple cases and deadlines Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to assume significant case-handling responsibilities Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid or fully remote environment Compensation & Benefits Salary: $130K – $175K (DOE) Annual Bonus Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Hybrid and fully remote work opportunities Office located in Lafayette, CA #J-18808-Ljbffr Elite Sourcing, LLC.
