Tax Senior Opportunity

Location: Greater Cleveland area, OH (city and suburbs; hybrid) Compensation: $75,000 - $110,000, depending on experience

About the Opportunity

A well-established regional CPA and advisory firm in the Greater Cleveland area is looking for a Tax Senior to take on a varied book of business and closely held clients. You'll prepare and review complex returns, work directly with clients, and help develop staff, with a clear path to Supervisor and Manager.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and perform first-level review of individual, partnership, S corporation, and C corporation returns
• Handle multistate filings, tax provisions, and projections
• Research technical tax issues and recommend practical solutions
• Serve as a day-to-day contact for clients and respond to tax authority notices
• Plan and manage engagements to meet deadlines and budgets
• Train, coach, and review the work of staff
• Support managers on tax planning and special projects

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation a plus
• 3-5 years of tax experience in public accounting
• CPA or EA (or actively pursuing)
• Strong knowledge of pass-through and individual taxation
• Experience with major tax software (e.g., CCH, UltraTax, GoSystem)
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and client service skills
