Training and Development Specialist - Journeyman

Training SpecialistTraining Specialist to support the CASTLE-NET program. The selected candidate will assist in the development, delivery, and evaluation of training programs supporting end users and IT personnel across the USACE enterprise environment.The Training Specialist will work closely with program leadership and stakeholders to identify training needs, develop instructional materials, conduct instructor-led and virtual training sessions, and measure training effectiveness. This role is focused on user adoption, knowledge transfer, and ensuring personnel are prepared to effectively utilize CASTLE-NET services and technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess user training requirements and identify knowledge gapsDevelop training materials, user guides, presentations, and job aidsDeliver instructor-led and virtual training sessionsSupport onboarding and end-user training initiativesCoordinate training schedules and logisticsCollect feedback and evaluate training effectivenessUpdate training materials based on program changes and user feedbackWork with technical and operational teams to ensure training accuracySupport continuous improvement of training processes and contentMaintain training documentation and recordsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience4+ years of training, instructional design, adult learning, or workforce development experienceExperience creating and delivering training materialsStrong presentation and facilitation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience using Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration toolsAbility to work independently and support multiple training initiatives simultaneouslyPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting Federal Government programsExperience delivering IT or technology-related trainingFamiliarity with ServiceNow, ITSM, or enterprise IT environmentsSecret ClearanceATD, CPTD, or related training certificationsMarathon TS is committed to the development of a creative, diverse and inclusive work environment.
