Occupational Therapist (OT) - Flexible/PRN - Houston, TX Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation. Overview We are looking for an experienced OT to serve as the primary therapist in a flexible PRN role (15‑20 hrs per week, 3+ days) providing functional rehabilitation across home, school, work, and community settings. What you will receive Flexible schedule created by you Paid per hour (not just per visit) In-person 1:1 therapy with indirect services from home (documentation/communication) Continuity of care as primary therapist from evaluation to discharge Team collaboration & co‑treats Drive time reimbursed at your clinical rate + mileage reimbursement No weekend shifts Educational program access Growth and advancement opportunities Responsibilities Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staff meetings and family conferences Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family members Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care, and enhance patient outcomes Qualifications Minimum bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current, unrestricted license as an OT in the state of practice Current CPR certification Minimum of one year’s experience as an OT Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred Effective communication skills in verbal and written interactions Ability to lift 50 pounds and to move, lift, or transfer patients up to 100 pounds following safety procedures Fine‑motor skills, visual acuity, ability to walk/stand for extended periods, and physical endurance for pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning Physical screening may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, per policy, local, and state regulations to verify ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations #J-18808-Ljbffr
