M&M Controls Counter Sales Associate

M&M Controls, a specialty division of Aireco and leading supplier of environmental controls and systems for the commercial and industrial HVAC marketplace is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the counter sales team in our Alexandria, VA branch location. The Counter Sales Associate will be responsible for selling to contractors alongside experienced HVAC controls customer service personnel. M&M Controls is searching for a candidate who is a team player with a passion for customer service, commitment to driving sales and reaching branch goals. Job Functions Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions such as providing pricing, quotes, processing orders and managing returns Generate new and repeat sales by educating customers about products Proactively recommend items needed by the customer to increase customer satisfaction and improve profitability Support and maintain branch appearance, assisting with stocking shelves and merchandising Provide excellent customer service at the counter while maintaining a positive attitude Assist customers with their HVAC parts and equipment needs both in person or via telephone Excellent communication skills, with a focus on internal and external customers Ability to build and maintain customer relationships Work in a team environment, supporting multiple product lines Ability to provide quality customer service Knowledgeable in HVAC products or other trade products Basic computer fluency and comfort with the ability to quickly gain necessary skills Ability to utilize computer to reference parts Demonstrate basic mathematical aptitude and function Strong interpersonal skills in sales and problem solving Positive attitude towards learning Participate in trainings to maintain and grow knowledge of products and skills Performs all other associated duties as assign by leadership team Requirements Able to lift 50 pounds Strong oral and written communications skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn Computer skills and willingness to learn new operational procedures Knowledge of HVAC systems is helpful but not required Counter or outside sales experience preferred Excellent benefits package includes 401K, health, dental and vision coverage, disability insurance, profit sharing, vacation and sick leave Equal Opportunity Employer / Drug Free Workplace #J-18808-Ljbffr AIRECO SUPPLY INC
