Safety Coordinator

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily safety operations and assisting the EHS Manager in maintaining a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment across IFAB facilities. This role helps coordinate safety programs, conduct inspections and training, track safety activities, and promote employee engagement in workplace safety initiatives. Key Responsibilities Support the EHS Manager in implementing and maintaining company safety policies and procedures. Conduct routine safety inspections and identify potential workplace hazards. Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action follow-up. Coordinate and track employee safety training, including PPE, Lockout/Tagout, Hazard Communication, and forklift safety. Maintain safety records, training logs, and compliance documentation. Help monitor OSHA compliance and support preparation for regulatory inspections or audits. Assist with reporting and tracking safety metrics, near misses, and incident trends. Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee safety engagement activities. Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions to improve workplace safety. Assist with PPE inventory management and ensure proper usage throughout the facility. Work closely with supervisors and employees to reinforce safe work practices daily. Support environmental and hazardous waste programs as directed by the EHS Manager. Assist with emergency response preparedness and safety drills.
