Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) specializing in Pediatric (PEDS) care is needed at a healthcare facility in Richland, Washington. This role involves providing critical respiratory support to NICU patients, including neonates, infants, and pediatrics, within a NICU unit characterized by high acuity. Candidates must bring their Washington State licensed (WA LIC IN HAND) certification on the first day. The position requires a commitment of 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour night shift, starting on 07/20/2026.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: WA State license in hand, 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, charge experience preferred, certifications including ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS or ENP, and RRT.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS or ENP, RRT.
• Experience: Two years of pediatric critical care experience, including NICU.
• Special Skills: Adult critical care, ARDS, aspiration management, high-risk delivery assistance, advanced ventilation skills (e.g., BiPAP, high frequency jet ventilator, oscillators), arterial blood gases interpretation, and tracheostomy care.
• Unit Details: NICU with Level 3 experience, patient census approximately 300 daily, with interdisciplinary support including respiratory, pharmacy, and emergency teams.
• Travel & Operational Requirements: Candidates must be flexible to float between units, prepared to work within the facility, and adhere to policy regarding return to sharing with Providence after three months.
• Submission Requirements: Include detailed interview availability with multiple time options, specify if previously employed at a Providence facility, and provide references covering the last 3 years. Ensure all candidate profiles include the last four digits of SSN and RTO requests made upfront.
