Progressive Option Support ServicesProgressive Option Support Services is a multi-specialty group of therapists dedicated to providing a wide variety of therapeutic and behavioral services to adults, children, and families experiencing emotional and behavioral health challenges. We strive to provide the best services with the highest regard to quality, safety, and satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct care to families of children with disabilities like autism spectrum disorders.Provide assistance to families within the home setting for the purpose of caregiver relief.Provide necessary resources and support system development.Develop skills around socialization, play and leisure, and activities of daily living.Must be a team playerAbility to utilize critical thinking, problem-solving and de-escalation skills.Completes all required training successfully and regularly attends mandatory respite meetings and supervision meetings.Notes necessary documentation of servicesPerforms other duties as assigned.Must agree to background check.Education and SkillsHigh School diploma (Required)Prior experience working with children with disabilities (Preferred).Flexible schedule school, evening, and/or weekend hours.Fluency in languages in Spanish a plus but not a requirement.Self-motivatedAbility to multi-task throughout the entire shiftWilling to travel 10-15-mile radiusMinimum of six months of experience working with children with developmental disabilitiesA working smartphone to utilize our applicationsDriver's license with a clean abstract (Required)HoursWeeknights, weekends, or daytime depending on agreed upon schedule with family. To complete the 20 hours weekly, providers must take more than one case. Each case is scheduled for 7.5 hours per week, so multiple cases are necessary to reach the full 20 hours.Job TypesPart-timePay$20-22/hour
