Our comprehensive VA Medical Center is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Chief of Psychiatry to help lead our Mental Health Service in delivering world-class, Veteran-centered care.

• Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a predictable, balanced schedule. Typical hours are M–F, 8:00am–4:30pm.
• Leadership Role: Serve as a key partner to the Mental Health Chief, sharing clinical, administrative, and educational leadership responsibilities. Approximately 50% clinical and 50% administrative duties.
• Academic Engagement: Guide the training and mentorship of Fellows, Residents, and Medical Students, with the opportunity for a faculty appointment at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Collaborative research opportunities are also available.

• MD or DO degree
• Successful completion of an ACGME accredited residency
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or District of Columbia
• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Prior leadership, supervisory, or administrative experience in a clinical setting preferred

• Compensation: Competitive salary with regular increases and an annual performance bonus of up to $15,000.
