MLR (MLee Recruiting) is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist for a full-time, permanent position at a respected acute-care hospital near Brownwood, Texas. Join a dedicated team in a well-established healthcare setting!

Salary: $65,000 - $89,000 annually

Work Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts, Thursday through Saturday, from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM

Core Responsibilities

• Patient Preparation: Position and prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the exam.
• Equipment Operation: Proficiently operate ultrasound machines to obtain clear and accurate images for diagnostic use.
• Image Assessment: Analyze and assess ultrasound images to aid in diagnosing medical conditions and guide treatment plans.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate records of patient histories, procedures, and diagnostic results.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to review findings and enhance patient care.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure ultrasound equipment is functioning correctly and well-maintained, reporting any issues promptly.
• Patient Communication: Inform patients about the procedure, address their inquiries, and provide post-exam care instructions.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiology or Ultrasound program.
• Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound experience.
• Certification from ARRT or ARDMS.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) or ARDMS.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to manage sensitive information confidentially.
