About This Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety by clearly explaining each phase of the procedure with empathy
  • Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
  • Manage and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions immediately
  • Accurately document procedures and uphold comprehensive patient records in the electronic medical system
  • Keep abreast of developments in ultrasound technologies and best practices
Education Background
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
  • Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
Required Certifications
  • Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
