Contracts Manager (Hybrid)

Position Overview Contracts Manager – Commercial Engine Contracts Management OrganizationLocation: East Hartford, Connecticut (Hybrid)U.S. citizenship required. Salary: 107,500USD – 204,500USD. What You Will Do Draft, negotiate, interpret and manage complex proposal and contract documents for Commercial Engines & Aftermarket Services sales offerings. Develop customer interaction and negotiation skills and gain international business experience. Participate in campaign strategy development, driving sales proposal efforts, coordinating input from other organizations, and drafting proposals that meet internal and external customer requirements while reflecting business and legal objectives. Engage in customer negotiations, including travel to customer sites as needed. Develop and implement strategies, processes, procedures, and tools to achieve Commercial Engines Contracts objectives. Drive compliance with department policies and procedures related to document preparation, approval, and communication of company objectives. Tasks are schedule‑driven and may require occasional non‑core hours and/or travel. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of contract management with a focus on drafting and negotiating, OR an advanced degree and 5+ years of contract management with a focus on drafting and negotiating. U.S. Citizenship. Strong document drafting and negotiation skills, management skills, and an understanding of aerospace business and legal issues. Familiarity with ACE/CORE process improvement tools. Good business judgment and project‑management skills to meet internal and external customer requirements. Strong social interaction ability and dynamic work style. Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree or Juris Doctorate. Technical/engineering expertise (beneficial but not required). Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
