Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Psychoeducational Evaluator to join our team. As a Psychoeducational Evaluator, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations of individuals with learning, developmental, or behavioral difficulties, and providing recommendations to address issues related to their academic and social-emotional development.
The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of the principles of psychoeducational assessment, and be able to administer and interpret standardized measures to evaluate cognitive abilities, academic achievement, and social-emotional functioning. Additionally, the candidate must be able to communicate effectively with clients, families, educators, and other professionals involved in the care of the individuals being evaluated.

Responsibilities- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations of individuals with learning, developmental, or behavioral difficulties.
- Administer and interpret standardized measures of cognitive abilities, academic achievement, and social-emotional functioning.
- Provide recommendations to address issues related to academic and social-emotional development.
- Communicate findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to clients, families, educators, and other professionals involved in the care of the individuals being evaluated.
- Evaluate and interpret data to identify patterns and trends related to individuals' academic and social-emotional development.
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to evaluations and assessments.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices and standards in psychoeducational assessment.
- Master's degree or higher in psychology, education, or related field.
- Certification or licensure as a New York State Licensed Psychologist.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations.
- Knowledge of the principles and methods of psychoeducational assessment.
- Familiarity with standardized measures of cognitive abilities, academic achievement, and social-emotional functioning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong commitment to ethical practices and respect for diversity.
- Monday to Friday
