You will work a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, with hours that may vary from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will gain valuable experience and connect with healthcare professionals who are committed to patient wellness.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist Assistant, your responsibilities will include:Assisting licensed Physical Therapists in conducting comprehensive evaluations and designing customized treatment plans that meet the specific needs of individual patients.Guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and ensuring they perform the movements correctly to promote healing and prevent further injury.Administering manual therapy techniques and educational sessions focused on injury prevention and home exercise strategies.Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress, outcomes, and any changes in treatment protocols in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.Actively participating in patient education regarding their rehabilitation journey, addressing any questions or concerns to best empower their recovery process.Patient Population / Client FocusOur patients range from those recovering from orthopedic surgeries to individuals facing mobility challenges due to sports injuries or chronic conditions. You will be working with a variety of therapy approaches tailored to different age groups and physiological needs, ensuring each patient receives the personalized care necessary for optimal recovery outcomes.QualificationsCandidates should possess the following qualifications:A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.An active PTA license in California, demonstrating your compliance with state regulations.A minimum of two years of professional experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as WebPT to ensure meticulous tracking of patient care and progress.Experience in applying hands-on therapy techniques, showcasing your practical skills in a clinical setting.Preferred ExperienceWhile not mandatory, the following attributes will enhance your application:Familiarity with advanced rehabilitation technologies and techniques.Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient orthopedic clinic, especially in diverse patient care situations.Additional certifications related to rehabilitation or specialized therapeutic interventions.Compensation and BenefitsYour commitment and expertise will be rewarded with a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 85,000.
