**Required Experience, Skills, and Certifications:** - 2 years or more ICU experience - Competency with IABP, Nxstage, Impella, and ECMO devices - Hemodynamic monitoring skills, including swans and art lines - Ventilator management - Strong critical thinking skills - Valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification - Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification - Active Texas RN License (Temporary licenses not accepted) **Preferred Skills and Experience:** - Exposure to Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) - Exposure to Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) - Proficiency in Meditech charting and order entry **Additional Requirements:** - Must participate in floating according to the Methodist Floating Policy - Required to have documentation system experience in Meditech - Specialty/Unit Certifications in RN (Not specified but implied with active TX RN License) - Familiarity with procedures performed on unit including post Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), post Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), and post catheterization with various cardiac support devices like IABP, Impella, and ECMO.
