Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Sarat Ford in Agawam, MA. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our employees and customers.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors and surfaces
Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, offices, and customer spaces
Conduct minor maintenance and report any major repairs needed
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly
Follow company safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements

Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not mandatory
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
