Transportation Aide

Transportation Aide Legends is seeking a dependable and compassionate Transportation Aide to assist with the safe transportation of our clients while providing supportive, professional care. The Transportation Aide is responsible for safely assisting clients during transportation to and from appointments, community activities, and other approved destinations. This individual will help ensure a calm, respectful, and secure environment while following all safety procedures and facility policies. Assist clients with entering and exiting vehicles safely. Accompany and monitor clients during transportation. Maintain a calm, professional, and supportive approach when working with individuals with behavioral health needs. Follow transportation schedules and communicate any delays or concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Observe clients for behavioral or safety concerns and report issues promptly. Assist with maintaining a clean and safe transportation environment. Follow all Legends policies, confidentiality requirements, and safety procedures. Provide additional support to clients and staff as needed. Qualifications CNA certification preferred. Experience working with individuals with behavioral or mental health needs preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations. Dependable, compassionate, and patient. Ability to meet physical requirements necessary to safely assist clients. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record may be required, depending on transportation duties. Why Join Legends?
