Experience working in an Agile product model: backlogrefinement, user stories, iterative delivery, and participation in ceremonies. Strong consultative and communication skills: ability toarticulate complex topics to varied audiences and influence decisions throughdata and options. Demonstrated ability to align technology work to businesspriorities and product roadmaps; effective planning, risk monitoring, andmitigation in a fast-paced environment. Role Overview The primary focus of this position is to provide experttechnical administration and product-oriented support for Workday, JM Family’sHuman Capital Management (HCM) system. In this role, you will act as a Sr.Workday Product Administrator and a trusted consultative partner to HR Centersof Excellence (COEs), IT, and business leaders. You will operate within anAgile, product-centric delivery model —helping teams continuously delivermeasurable value through iterative enhancements, stable operations, and disciplinedrelease execution. Key Responsibilities Provide ongoingdesign, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Workday, ensuringstability, usability, and scalability. Serve as the seniorproduct administrator for Workday HCM, setting configuration standards, drivinggovernance, and collaborating with the product team. Work as an embeddedmember of a cross-functional Workday product team in an Agile product model,contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, andretrospectives. Partner with theProduct Owner/Product Manager and HR COEs to translate business needs intowell-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and a prioritized productbacklog that maximizes value realization. Execute and governmass data uploads and changes using EIBs (including quality checks, controls,and auditability). Provide Tier 2/3support: triage incidents, troubleshoot complex issues, coordinate resolution,and communicate clearly to stakeholders. Drive automation andreduction of manual processes; identify technical debt and improvementopportunities and deliver solutions iteratively. Own release readinessfor Workday updates and feature deployments: plan, test, validate, coordinatecutover, and support to ensure high-quality outcomes. Ensure timely andaccurate documentation: system functionality, business process configuration,security design, data flows/integrations, and troubleshooting guides. Evaluate feasibilityof modifications/enhancements, balancing risk, dependencies, compliance, andvalue; advise on options and recommended approaches. Ensure adherence todefined technical standards, security, and data privacy requirements; maintainrole-based access and security administration best practices.
