Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical-Mechanical Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Fremont, CA supporting production and developmental equipment used in the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing industries. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, capital equipment experience, and the ability to work on complex systems from assembly through startup.

The Electrical-Mechanical Technician will work in a fast-paced production environment where teamwork, technical accuracy, and problem-solving are highly valued. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive technical team, build experience with advanced semiconductor equipment, and contribute to high-impact projects involving electrical assemblies, mechanical builds, PLCs, motion control, and system-level troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Build complex electrical assemblies, including panel layouts, cables, wiring, and components using schematics and technical documentation.
- Assemble mechanical systems using mechanical drawings, drilling, tapping, and common hand and power tools.
- Support machine startup, I/O checkout, alignment, and troubleshooting during assembly and production.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, software, PLC, motion control, and I/O subsystem issues using PC-based tools and electrical measurement equipment.
- Interface with engineering teams regarding bills of materials, drawings, schematics, software, and control system concerns.
- Support production floor operations and, when needed, troubleshoot equipment at customer facilities.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $26 to $31 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Fremont, CA 94538.
