Looking for a Dental Assistant for small Henderson family dental practice to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Interaction: Greet patients, explain procedures, and address concerns to create a comfortable environment.

Chairside Assistance: Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by providing instruments, materials, and maintaining a sterile environment.

Instrument Preparation and Sterilization: Clean, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and equipment for efficient use during procedures.

Radiography: Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols to ensure accurate imaging.

Patient Records Management: Maintain accurate medical histories, treatment plans, and billing information while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Treatment Coordination: Schedule follow-up appointments, manage referrals, and assist in coordinating patient care plans.

Inventory Management: Monitor and order dental supplies, ensuring the practice remains well-stocked.

Essential Skills:

Proficiency in chairside support, sterilization, and infection control.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.

Familiarity with Open Dental a plus. 

Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and radiography techniques.

Multitasking and organizational skills to maintain workflow efficiency.
