• Position: Travel Physical Therapist / Licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490 - $2,670
• Location: Fairbanks, Alaska (99701) - Alaska physical therapy jobs
• Assignment Length: 16 weeks
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday
• Weekend Rotation: No regular weekends; occasional weekends available if desired

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of general Physical Therapy (PT) experience required; 5+ years preferred
• Active Alaska Physical Therapist license (required) - licensed physical therapist in Alaska
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Experience in home health and hospital rehabilitation or strong interest in travel PT roles
• Excellent documentation skills and ability to work with interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical therapy services in home health and hospital rehabilitation settings
• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients across the continuum of care
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with facility and agency charting standards
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques, fall prevention, mobility training, and wellness strategies
