Sr Specialist, Project Management Support

Responsibilities Identifies problems and solutions. Provides input to project objectives, timelines, risks, milestones, deliverables, and budgets; identifies and resolves issues and conflicts among team members, and if needed, escalates to the Project Manager. Conducts analysis and prepares presentations. Exercises independent judgment and discretion to advise and recommend courses of action. Applies advanced in-depth knowledge of project management support principles; understands the project life cycle. Proactively addresses project team needs and provides reminders; good communicator, both written and verbally. Interacts and coordinates with outside agencies, licensing bodies, and project teams. Obtains project status updates and maintains the project tracking database and other administrative tasks. Recognizes verbal cues in meetings (action items, requests, additional meetings to be set up, etc.). Works well in a team as well as independently. Adapts and reprioritizes on a day-to-day basis depending on new or existing challenges. Accomplishes results through own efforts – strong interpersonal skills. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in an applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 5+ years of project support experience. 2+ years of project management experience. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive). Previous construction experience required. Electrical Infrastructure knowledge/experience highly preferred. Has supported Project Managers that manage projects from beginning through execution. Knowledgeable in P6 and SAP preferred. Hybrid work schedule; must be local to Southern California. Periodic site visits. The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicant’s qualifications, education, experience and work location.
