NICU Registered Nurse Opportunity

Seeking experienced NICU registered nurses to provide specialized care for neonatal patients. The role involves managing critically ill babies and working within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor patient care in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system to document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Conduct specialized procedures such as full body cooling, chest tube management, and tracheostomy care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Float to other NICU units or facilities as needed, maintaining competency across departments.
• Ensure compliance with required certifications and safety standards to uphold quality care.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid SC nursing license and BLS, NRP certifications.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience in neonatal intensive care nursing.
• Have at least 1 year of recent EPIC EMR system experience.
• Hold current STABLE certification and valid SC license.
• Able to manage complex neonatal conditions such as HIE, RDS, and congenital anomalies.
