Regional Vice President

The Regional Vice President for Nashville and Alabama communicates and promotes the LAZ Way culture to ensure the strength and sustainability of our organization's family atmosphere across multiple regions while upholding and modeling behaviors that are consistent with the Mission, Values and Practices of the company. The Regional Vice President is the leader for all business operations in the assigned city or region and is responsible for new business development, financial and operations management, human resources, organization effectiveness, employee development and profit delivery. Additional Details Regional portfolio - ~Tennessee & Alabama Service lines within portfolio - Hospitality, Airports, Healthcare, Events, Commercial, Municipal 50% of this role is business development Direct Reports - (4 GMs, 1 BD Director, 1 HRBP) Position is on‑site; working from our Nashville LAZ Parking regional office Principal Job Duties Lead, direct, and develop the management team to accomplish goals and initiatives while embodying and using LAZ Parking’s culture as a guideline. Develop client relationships and ensure business retention. Maximize revenue, manage expenses, and maintain customer satisfaction by meeting service thresholds and initiatives aligned with client expectations. Develop a strategic business plan and direction for the assigned region with approval from the Senior Vice President. Lead the region’s business development efforts—including proposals, presentations, and transitions for new locations. Identify high‑potential employees to support the organization’s growth. Conduct monthly profit/loss reviews and budget assessments by location within the region. Oversee the annual budget preparation and presentation process for the region. Organize and deliver parking management skills training for General Managers, Directors of Operations, and Project Managers. Understand, implement, and deliver all contractual requirements between LAZ Parking and clients. Produce daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial and operational reports as required. Execute additional projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise within the region. Participate in labor contract management, if applicable to the region. Review and edit proposed parking, maintenance, and related agreements. Additional related duties as assigned. Travel 30% within region (Tennessee & Alabama) Education Bachelor’s Degree required. Experience 7‑10+ years in a senior leadership role in the parking industry or a similar industry. Business development experience required. Experience with financial, accounting, and reporting practices, procedures, and processes. Skills Comprehensive leadership skills encompassing realistic target development, ownership, and accountability. Tenacious business development, negotiation, and sales skills to retain and grow the existing business portfolio. Sophisticated financial ability for operations analysis and pro forma development. Broad accounting competence including budgeting, controlling, reporting, and forecasting. Drive for improvement and fostering an environment of idea sharing and creative problem‑solving. Strong customer service and client‑management skills. Willingness to compete for business and patience to achieve regional goals. Approachable and able to facilitate coaching conversations with employees and managers. Ability to mitigate challenges and lead others (Never Ever Give Up Attitude). Mentoring and management‑development experience. Encouragement of open expression of ideas and opinions. Excellent team‑building and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and multi‑task. Professional and effective communication across all organizational levels. Interpretation of policies, procedures, and standard business practices. Sense of urgency and timeliness. Physical Demands Willingness to work in the elements—heat, wind, snow, rain, etc. Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods of time.
