Associate Veterinarian

Introduction Our client is a hospital in Crystal Lake, Illinois, seeking a Rehab and Integrative Veterinarian to join their state-of-the-art facility. This role focuses on expanding their integrative medicine offerings by reintroducing chiropractic and acupuncture services to complement an already established rehabilitation department. The hospital provides care exclusively to companion animals and is the only 24/7 specialty, referral, and emergency hospital in the greater McHenry County region. Working Hours / Rota The hospital operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Role Description and Responsibilities This position is ideal for an experienced clinician looking to contribute to and grow within a collaborative specialty and emergency environment. The role focuses on integrative medicine, including chiropractic and acupuncture services, while utilizing a fully equipped rehabilitation department. Responsibilities include managing both inpatients and outpatients through personalized, holistic treatment approaches. Emergency and internal medicine specialists are available for comprehensive case coordination. Practice Details The facility is equipped with advanced diagnostics and therapeutic tools, including on-site CT imaging, digital radiology, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, endoscopy, and ECG/EKG. Rehabilitation services are supported by two underwater treadmills and a full exercise room. The in-house lab enables rapid diagnostics with testing capabilities such as rhinoscopy, bone marrow biopsies, joint taps, GI endoscopy, and more. Services offered include emergency and critical care, internal medicine, integrative therapies, and rehabilitation. Team The team consists of 8 DVMs, including an internal medicine specialist, and operates in a collaborative environment that values expertise, mentorship, and a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care.
