About the Role Join MI CASA HEALTHCARE LLC as a Full-Time Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their families. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care throughout San Antonio and surrounding communities. We are seeking passionate nurses who value dignity, comfort, and excellence in patient care. Position Type Full-Time Salaried Position Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients in homes, facilities, assisted living communities, and other care settings in accordance with the plan of care Participate in an on-call rotation Perform routine visits, admissions, recertifications, PRN visits, and death visits as needed Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team Administer medications and treatments as ordered while ensuring patient comfort and safety Monitor changes in condition and communicate updates to physicians and team members promptly Educate patients and families regarding hospice services, symptom management, coping strategies, and end-of-life care options Support the emotional and spiritual needs of patients and families during this critical time Complete all clinical documentation accurately and within 24 hours of each visit Participate in biweekly IDG (Interdisciplinary Group) meetings Maintain compliance with Medicare, state regulations, and company policies Provide after-hours support during assigned on-call rotation Qualifications Current and active Texas Registered Nurse license in good standing Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required Minimum 1 year of Hospice Nursing experience required Strong clinical assessment, time management, and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care Current BLS/CPR certification required Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance required Experience with EMR systems preferred (Axxess experience a plus) About Us MI CASA HEALTHCARE LLC has proudly served the San Antonio community for over a decade, delivering exceptional hospice care with a focus on dignity, compassion, and respect.
