We’re seeking a skilled TIG Welder/Fabricator who takes pride in precision, clean welds, and polished finishes. Key Responsibilities Perform TIG welding on thin‑gauge aluminum and stainless‑steel components, often for polished or ornamental finishes. Fabricate and assemble parts from technical drawings and blueprints. Execute ornamental welds that require both structural integrity and visual appeal. Complete welds with a high attention to aesthetic finish and smooth polishing requirements. Inspect and test welds for precision and strength. Take ownership of your weld setup—no WPS provided. Participate in weld test (5 total coupons: aluminum & stainless, lap, T, and corner joints). Maintain equipment and follow all shop safety procedures. Collaborate across departments with an understanding of how your work supports the full shop process. Support other metal shop tasks beyond welding as needed. What We’re Looking For Advanced TIG welding skills—especially with thin gauge stainless and aluminum. Background in polish‑ready welds for ornamental or visible finishes. Ability to interpret blueprints and produce custom parts accurately. Experience in a custom or ornamental metalwork environment preferred.
