Job Description

Sam's Club is seeking a Membership Associate to communicate and explain Membership types, programs, and benefits to current and prospective Members. The role involves assisting with account decisions, building Membership levels, encouraging renewals, communicating credit card program types and application processes, and promoting the value of Sam's Club products and services. The associate will provide CustomerMember service by acknowledging the CustomerMember, identifying CustomerMember needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving CustomerMember issues and concerns, and promoting products and services while maintaining a safe shopping environment. Additionally, the role includes maintaining the Gas StationCar Wash area by cleaning and organizing, ensuring accurate pricing signage, handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandisesupplies, identifying shrink and damages, and ensuring a safe work environment. The associate will receive and stock merchandisesupplies from distribution centers and suppliers, organize and maintain the facility by following company procedures, utilize equipment appropriately, merchandise, and complete and retain required paperwork logs and other documentation. The role also involves operating equipment such as cash registers and related tools to process customer purchases, operating and maintaining Gas StationCar Wash area equipment, and providing product and services to Customers in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
