Commercial Lines Account Manager

Responsibilities Follow Large Commercial Timeline Adhere to Cross Procedure Manual and Master CL Workflow Manual Handle Large Complex Accounts (Book of Business up to $1,000,000 or more in revenue. Meet with Producer/AE monthly to review marketing instructions Visit clients as necessary as a proxy for Account Executive Assist in soliciting increases in coverage (Round out accounts) Can provide an Analysis of Coverage Has in-depth technical knowledge of insurance coverages & produits to advise clients with very little direction of an Account Executive Understand the daily business operations and exposures of our customers Collect applications and underwriting information from Producer/AE and/or Client and Prospects as necessary to market new and renewal policies Prepare Annual Review Kits and Proposals Prepare Renewal and New business submissions and proposals Follow-up with underwriters for the timely receipt of quotes Respond to requests from underwriters Invoice for prompt payment of agency bill invoices and request cancellation of policy when payment(s) are not received per Cross guidelines Create new policy issuance instructions, quote instructions and renewal instructions for insurance company. (Bind Order) Produce Initial binders for Renewal and New Accounts Provide clear concise instructions for processing new and renewal policies Accurately Complete CL Checklist Add Master COIs & EPIs on Renewal and New Business Respond to customer inquiries including coverage questions, requests for documentation with or without direction of the Producer/AE Answer questions posed by Processing Analysts Facilitate audit disputes About the Company Family Owned From starting at the kitchen table of Woodrow Cross, to becoming one of the largest insurance providers in New England, we’ve grown rapidly over the past 65 years.
