Nurse Practitioner Or Physician AssistantMedcor is currently looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work on a PRN basis (as-needed) in our employer-based clinic setting in Cedar Rapids, IA. The work environment is in a corn processing facility focusing on acute episodic care. The clinic operates Monday-Friday 7am-3pm.THIS IS NOT A FULL TIME JOB. IT IS PRN/COVERAGE *Since this is on an as needed basis there are no guaranteed hours. The day-to-day role of the PA/NP includes close cooperation with the on-site medical staff operating in the clinic and a focus on team care across the Medcor operation for this client.The clinic provides a broad scope of services including the diagnosis and treatment of workers compensation injuries and illnesses, urgent care, surveillance and regulatory exams, and preventative services. This position will work closely with a Medcor employed oversight physician assigned to the site, as well as RN. This position requires no weekend or on-call hours; however, with advanced notice, flexibility for additional hours is preferred, as requested by the client.
