Job Summary

The Senior ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The role focuses on advanced scripting, system integrations, workflow automation, platform customization, and supporting platform stability and performance.

Required Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow Glide APIs.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, and ServiceNow Integration Hub.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Git.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and data models.
  • Experience in one or more areas including Workspace Development, Portals, Integrations, CMDB, Platform Intelligence, or Reporting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop custom applications, modules, and Scoped Applications using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
  • Configure workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, UI actions, and Self-Service Portals.
  • Perform peer code reviews and maintain coding standards.
  • Manage update sets and automated testing using the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Configure and maintain integrations with third-party systems using Integration Hub and MID Servers.
  • Support L2/L3 incidents, troubleshoot platform issues, and implement technical enhancements.
  • Analyze platform performance using Health Scan and Instance Scan reports.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and technical documentation.
  • Participate in Agile development activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Required Certification
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
Preferred Module Experience
  • Hands-on experience with at least two of the following:
  • ITSM
  • CSM
  • CMDB
  • ITOM
  • SPM
