Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory General Information Join a dynamic team in our Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) lab. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with advanced technology and skilled professionals. Unit Overview Number of Beds: 0 Minimum Daily Staff: 6 for the EP lab area Staff Composition: Mix of Registered Nurses (RN) and Radiologic Technologists (Rad Tech)/Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists (RCIS) Patient Care Team: 3-person team per patient Equipment: Philips and GE procedure tables, GE BT22 documentation system Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech (Expanse planned for July 2025) Typical Procedures Ablations (all types) Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO) Device Implants (e.g., PPM, ICD, Bi-V PPM/ICD) Required Skills and Qualifications Candidates must possess the following skills: Circulate, Scrub, and/or Monitor Experience with Ablation Procedures (Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, Ventricular Tachycardia, Supraventricular Tachycardia, Premature Ventricular Contractions) Experience with LAAO Procedures (Watchman, Amulet) Experience with Device Implants (PPM, ICD, Bi-V PPM/ICD) Preferred skills include: Loop Implant/Explant Leadless PPM Lead Extraction Personality Fit The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently as well as part of a team, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and show a willingness to adapt setups and work habits to meet the needs of the lab and physicians. Certifications Required certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) BLS (Basic Life Support) Additional Information Floating opportunities may be available in Cath Lab or Pre/Post areas based on experience.
