As a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care to mothers and their newborns. You will be responsible for both direct patient care and overseeing the work of other caregivers to ensure the highest standards of care are met. This position requires a strong understanding of patient care services and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

• Perform comprehensive assessments and data collection focusing on physiological, psychosocial, and cognitive status
• Implement care plans and adhere to established procedures and policies
• Identify and address patient learning needs and readiness for education
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records
• Delegate and supervise patient care activities effectively
• Maintain professional growth through continuous learning and development
• Ensure compliance with safety and organizational policies
• Function as a Charge Nurse when required, managing patient assignments and coordinating staff coverage
• Need 1 year experience in setting
• Current Washington State RN Licensure
• HCP Level of BLS within 30 days of hire
• NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN’s Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications required within specified timeframes
