Schedule

3x12.0 Rotating Shift Schedule - Includes evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback responsibilities. No straight shift schedules available.

Job Description

The Level II Registered Nurse is accountable for providing competent care based on established standards. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the nurse assumes an expanded role, which may include responsibilities such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member. This position emphasizes clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research based on evidence.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent and quality care to patients based on established clinical standards.
• Assume leadership roles and responsibilities as delegated by the Nurse Manager.
• Participate in orientation, training, and mentoring of new staff and students.
• Engage in professional development and contribute to research and evidence-based practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two (2) years of nursing experience, preferably in telemetry.
• Valid NY Registered Nurse License (only NY licenses accepted).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA only).
• Telemetry experience is required.
